Giving a Sporting Chance
As part of our social enterprise ethos, Arch Communications is funding an exciting charity project to bring the spirit of the Olympics to this summer’s Ashes cricket clash between England and Australia.
We’re fully sponsoring a pioneering programme by Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club to provide Olympics-style Games Makers for the opening Test at Trent Bridge.
A support team has been recruited and trained to ensure a great experience for those lucky enough to have tickets for the match. The 80 volunteering opportunities will provide community involvement in a variety of roles – including entertainment, ticketing, media, catering and retail.
The team had a major rehearsal with a near capacity crowd at the recent England v New Zealand One Day International. It was their first opportunity to try out the special uniforms which we have funded as part of the sponsorship – complete with our company logo.
